CBN Governor Urges Nigerians to Stay Put

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, has discouraged Nigerians from leaving the country, urging them to stay and contribute to the nation’s economic growth.

In his keynote address at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria’s annual dinner, Cardoso emphasized the potential for economic opportunities within Nigeria. He highlighted the growing interest from foreign investors in the country’s assets, indicating a promising future.

While acknowledging the challenges posed by recent economic reforms, Cardoso assured Nigerians that these measures are necessary to address long-standing issues and create a more sustainable economy. He called for collective efforts from all stakeholders to build a thriving economy for all.
