Renowned American rapper Busta Rhymes recently remarked that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy exhibits a Jamaican influence in his music. The hip-hop icon, who joined forces with Burna on the track “Roboshotta” from his latest album, “Blockbusta,” expressed his admiration for Burna Boy’s versatility during an episode of the Shopping for Sneakers podcast. Busta Rhymes noted that while working on the song, he observed Burna Boy sounding akin to a Jamaican, praising the Nigerian artist’s ability to seamlessly embrace diverse musical styles. The collaboration between Burna Boy and Busta Rhymes took root after the American rapper made a cameo appearance in the music video for Burna Boy’s hit song, “Big 7,” earlier in the year.
