Breaking News: 27 Members of Rivers Assembly Switch Allegiance to APC

Reportedly, 27 members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have switched allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The defectors are reportedly aligned with former Governor Nyesom Wike, who currently serves as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This move occurred during the Assembly’s session on Monday.

Among the 32 House members, four are said to remain loyal to Governor Siminialayi Fubara, while the majority are now aligned with Wike. Further details will be provided soon.
