Traditional Rulers Get a Palace Makeover in Dass LGA 🚧
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has given the green light for the renovation and upgrade of 11 village head palaces in the Dass Local Government Area. This initiative is part of his ongoing efforts to transform traditional institutions in the state.
Additionally, the governor has approved the full renovation of the palace of the Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Othman, as part of the state’s broader plan to improve the working environment for traditional rulers.
LG Chairman Praises Governor’s Vision 🌟
During an assessment visit by engineers, the Chairman of Dass LGA, Mohammed Jibo, expressed his gratitude towards the governor’s dedication. He commended the initiative, which aims to create a conducive atmosphere for traditional leaders to contribute to peace and development in their communities.
He said, “Governor Mohammed’s administration continues to prioritize the renovation of palaces for traditional rulers across Bauchi. These efforts aim to provide better living and working conditions for our first-class Emirs and village heads.”
Palaces to Benefit from the Upgrade 🏠
Among the village heads whose palaces will receive a facelift are those of Bununu Dass, Wandi, Baraza, Durr, Lukshi, Zumbul, Polchi, Dott, Bondot, Bajar, and Bagel.
The chairman highlighted the governor’s quick approval of the council’s request and praised him for extending this gesture to traditional leaders in Dass LGA.
Village Heads Praise the Governor 🙏
In response, the village heads applauded Governor Bala Mohammed’s commitment to supporting traditional institutions. They wished him continued success as he leads Bauchi State to greater heights.
