Two bandit leaders, Sani Black and Kachalla Makore confirmed dead in Zamfara.

Two bandits attacked the Dansadau district and nearby areas within the Maru Local Government Area. Alh Mustapha Jafaru Kaura, Senior Special Adviser to the Zamfara State Governor, announced that the Zamfara State Community Protection Guards and Nigerian troops killed notorious bandit leaders Sani Black and Kachalla Makore.

On Sunday, assailants killed Sani Black in Yar-Tasha village. On Tuesday, Kachalla Makore was killed in Kunkeli village in Maru LGA of Zamfara State. Moreover, Kaura reported that the attackers eliminated both leaders and their 23 top lieutenants during the operation.

Subsequently, following the ambush that killed Sani Black on September 22 in Yar-Tasha, Lieutenant K. Makore gathered his men on September 24 to retrieve the body and seek revenge.

“Fortunately, security forces ambushed and killed Makore in Kunkeli village of Dansadau district, Maru Local Government Area.

Subsequent to the ambush that resulted in the death of Sani Black on September 22 in Yar-Tasha, Lieutenant K. Makore gathered his men on September 24 to retrieve the body and pursue revenge.

Makore set fire to an Armored Personnel Carrier, injured two soldiers in a clash with security forces in Kunkeli.

The SSA laud this incident as a major step forward in the fight against banditry and urged security personnel to continue their efforts. Kaura reaffirmed the state government’s dedication to combating banditry, pledging continued support to security agencies to resolve the issue.

He called on the public to assist security agencies by providing valuable information to help capture or eliminate bandits in the communities.

Recalled, FGN directed Defence Minister Dr. Bello Matawalle and military leaders to tackle banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism in the State.

The government announced this directive as part of enhanced efforts to combat banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism in the North-West.

Matawalle confirmed they would oversee operations in the North-West to eliminate Bello Turji and his bandit gang.
