Former U.S. President Barack Obama has curated a list of his favorite music for 2023, which includes four Nigerian tracks. Among the featured songs are “Unavailable” by Davido featuring Musa Keys, “Amapiano” by Asake featuring Olamide, “Me & U” by Tems, and “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” by Burna Boy featuring 21 Savage.

Additionally, South African singer Tyla’s “Water” made it onto the list that Obama shared on Friday. The compilation spans various genres, encompassing Latino, pop, Afrobeats, hip-hop, grime, reggaeton, reggae, dancehall, R&B, and soul.

Obama, using his X handle, posted the list and encouraged followers to suggest other artists or songs for him to explore, saying, “Here are some of my favorite songs from this year. Let me know if there are any artists or songs I should check out.”
