APC Accuses Adeleke Administration of Being Wasteful

Osun APC Criticizes Adeleke’s Administration, CSOs Disagree

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has criticized Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration, alleging mismanagement of public funds. The party claims the state government has received substantial federal allocations but has failed to deliver significant projects.

APC spokesperson Kola Olabisi stated that Osun received N385 billion from January 2023 to September 2024, yet there’s little to show for it. He pointed out discrepancies in revenue utilization, particularly concerning the governor’s office budget.

However, a coalition of civil society organizations (CSOs) has praised Governor Adeleke’s administration for its achievements in infrastructure, human development, and governance. The coalition, after a week-long assessment, concluded that the current administration has outperformed its predecessor.

The contrasting assessments highlight the ongoing debate surrounding Governor Adeleke’s leadership and the state’s financial management.
