Ali Bastian Opens Up About Stage Two Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Popular Hollyoaks star, Alexandra Louise Bastian, has revealed she’s battling stage two breast cancer. The 42-year-old actress shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, explaining that the diagnosis came while she was still breastfeeding.

Bastian described the situation as shocking, admitting, “Some mornings I wake up and forget, then suddenly it hits me again. I’m still processing it.” She’s currently undergoing chemotherapy and will also have a single mastectomy and radiotherapy.

Her concern began when a blocked duct wouldn’t clear up, leading her to seek further medical help. “I told my GP, ‘I need to go to the clinic now,’ and they supported me immediately,” she shared.
