Accusations of sexual assault: Rapper Diddy loses affiliations with 18 companies.

Eighteen companies have severed their associations with Empower Global, a business venture initiated by the beleaguered American singer, Sean Combs, widely known as Diddy, in the wake of a series of sexual assault allegations against him. This information was confirmed to Rolling Stone Magazine on Sunday.

Annette Njau, the founder of the luxury-bag, eyewear, and apparel company, House of Takura, emphasized, “We take the allegations against Mr. Combs seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable. We believe and support victims’ rights, even against the most powerful of people.”

According to Rolling Stone, a total of 18 brands have severed ties with Diddy’s Empower Global, which was established in 2021. Among the companies distancing themselves from Diddy’s venture are skincare brand Tsuri, footwear line Rebecca Allen, jewelry label Fulaba, and sunscreen brand Baby Donna, among others.

This development follows a fourth lawsuit filed against the singer by Jane Doe, who alleges she was sex trafficked and gang-raped in 2003 by Diddy, Harve Pierre (a former Bad Boy Records president), and another man when she was 17. The news surfaced shortly after Diddy’s resignation as the chairman of Revolt TV, a media company he co-founded, in November.
