Abia State Prepares for 2024 Aba International Trade Fair

Abia State is gearing up to host the 2024 Aba International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 7 at the Aba Mega Mall. The state government, led by Governor Alex Otti, is committed to ensuring the success of this event.

Deputy Governor Ikechukwu Emetu highlighted the state’s efforts to create a secure and conducive environment for participants. Security measures, including increased police presence and surveillance, will be implemented to safeguard attendees and their property.

To facilitate transportation, free shuttle services will be provided to and from the trade fair venue. Additionally, the government is working with hotels to offer discounted rates for visitors.

The trade fair aims to attract over 10,000 participants from across Nigeria and beyond. It will showcase a wide range of products and services, fostering business connections and economic growth.

A symposium will also be held to discuss the restoration of Aba as a thriving commercial hub. Governor Otti is expected to deliver the keynote address at the opening ceremony.
