Emmanuel Adeyemi the nine-year-old boy who was reported missing in Lagos State, has been located. He disappeared during an evangelical outreach in Orile-Agege with his father, Olasunkanmi Adeyemi, on November 19, 2023.
According to reports from Punch, Emmanuel was discovered in an orphanage in Ikotun, Alimosho Local Government Area of the state on Monday, December 19. Officials from the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, previously known as “Kick Against Indiscipline,” rescued him after he was reportedly dropped off in a tricycle with his eyes covered, attracting the attention of onlookers.
The young boy was subsequently taken to the Ikotun Police Station in Alimosho, Lagos. Confirming the positive turn of events, Emmanuel’s father shared his relief, stating, “I received a call from ‘KAI’ officials on Monday. Upon reaching their office, I was informed that the boy had been found. According to their account, he was left in a tricycle, drawing a crowd’s attention. ‘KAI’ officials present at the scene intervened, took charge, and handed him over to the police.”
